Jihad Taha said,” International Quds Day, which was suggested by Late Imam Khomeini in 1979 at the same time as the Islamic Revolution of Iran, is to emphasize that Quds will remain Arabic, Islamic and Palestinian.”

Hawzah News Agency- Jihad Taha, the spokesman of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas, said in a speech, "World Quds Day, which was named by Late Imam Khomeini in 1979 following the Islamic Revolution of Iran against injustice and oppression, we gather today to emphasize that the Holy Quds will remain Islamic and Palestinian.”

He added,” Today, Holy Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque are exposed to Zionists' Jewisation plans to change the characteristics of this Islamic city and the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

The spokesman of Hamas movement further added,” If there is a political stance today, we announce that unless we reclaim our legitimate rights in the holy land of Palestine, Quds will remain the axis of the conflict with the Zionist regime.”

He continued,” For us and in our Islamic and political culture, Quds will be the present, the future and the compass through which we will enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

At the end, Jihad Taha said,” Our nation is fighting a heroic battle, the Battle of Al-Aqsa Storm. This presence of the Palestinians, who rubbed the Zionists' noses into the ground and trampled the heads of the Zionist leaders with the feet of the Mujahideen, is a fatal defeat for this regime.”
